In the fourth week of June 2024, a 3-bedroom unit at Windy Heights condo recorded a $2.14 million gain after being held for 323 months. This 2,476 sqft unit, located on a low floor, was sold for $3.3 million, translating to $1,333 per square foot (PSF). This sale marks the highest profit ever recorded for 3-bedroom units within Windy Heights condo, surpassing a unit on higher floor, which was sold for $2.5 million in February 2021 and recorded a $1.7 million gain (214%) after 174 months. 


Additionally, this transaction sets a new high for transacted PSF within Windy Heights condo, surpassing the previous record of $1.1 PSF set by another 3 bedder in December 2021.  


Windy Heights is a freehold condo located in District 14 (D14) Bedok. Completed in 1983, it comprises 200 units of 3 and 4 bedrooms. Over the past 3 years, units at Windy Heights have transacted at an average of $1,078 - $1,206 PSF. The condo is situated within a 10-minute walk from both Kembangan and Kaki Bukit MRT stations and is surrounded by 9 schools within a 2-km radius, including Eunos Primary School and Haig Girls’ School. 


 

 


Another noteworthy transaction took place at Thomson 800 condo in Ang Mo Kio. A 3-bedroom unit at Thomson 800 condo recorded a remarkable 199% gain, amounting to $1.81 million after being held for 217 months, equating to an annual gain of 12%. The 1,410 sqft unit, located on a middle floor, was sold for $2.72 million ($1,929 PSF). This is the most profitable 3-bedroom transaction within Thomson 800 condo, beating the previous record of $1.79M in gain by a unit on higher floor in February 2023. 


This sale also set a new record for the highest PSF transacted within Thomson 800 condo, surpassing the previous high of $1,920 PSF achieved by another unit in April 2023.  


Thomson 800 is a freehold condo in District 11 (D11) Toa Payoh, completed in 1999, consisting of 5 blocks and 390 units ranging from 3 to 4 bedrooms. Over the past 3 years, units at Thomson 800 have transacted at an average of $1,285 - $1,732 PSF. The condo is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from Caldecott MRT station and an 11-minute walk from Marymount and Braddell MRT station, with 17 schools within a 2-km radius, including Raffles Girls’ School and Catholic High School.
