Our Founding Story

In 2019, Jean-Michel Paul (CEO), Patrick Yan (CTO), and Jiajia Yao (Head Quant) co-founded Real Estate Analytics (REA) with the goal of bringing greater transparency, efficiency, and cost savings to the property market through AI-driven technology.

The story of REA, however, began much earlier. During his PhD studies, Jean-Michel Paul noticed that the vast amount of data in the real estate industry was not being properly utilised, leading to significant inefficiencies in costing, pricing, and manpower. After achieving business success and reflecting on the field of real estate for many years, he returned to this challenge with a mature solution in mind. His journey led him back to Singapore, where he, along with his co-founders, set out to revolutionise the industry. This marked the beginning of REA's mission to transform the real estate landscape.
